377th SFG hosts 20th AF convention for defenders

From 28-30 March, the 377th Security Forces Group hosted members from each respective SFG throughout 20th Air Force. The convention provided an opportunity for Kirtland’s SFG counterparts to be immersed in some of the unique security challenges facing the installation.

In addition, the leadership teams witnessed demonstrations of technological initiatives being championed by the 377th SFG. This included exposure to MAGOS, a state of the art security system utilized to detect base intrusions, RADR 3D Mapping, AFRLs Active Denial System, and the Mustr recall application. Kirtland’s Combat Arms professionals provided a demonstration of their robotic moving targets. The robots were a TDY cost saving initiative that were that procured with innovation funds.
