Maj. Gen. Stoss takes command of 20th AF

Maj. Gen. Fred Stoss, incoming 20th Air Force commander, thanks community members and the Airmen of the 20th Air Force for attending the change of command ceremony at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyo., Jan. 26, 2018. Stoss’ previous assignment was as the Air Force Global Strike Command director of operations and communications at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. The 20th Air Force mission is to prepare the nation's ICBM force to execute safe, secure, and effective nuclear strike operations and to support worldwide combat command requirements.
