Snowy Wolf
The MH-139A Grey Wolf stirs up a cloud of snow as it touches down near Malstrom Air Force Base, Montana in February. The snow lift offs and touchdowns were the culmination of the 413th Flight Test Squadron’s austere landing testing. The tests focused on the new aircraft’s ability to land in unprepared areas such as fields, which is a core capability of any rotary-wing aircraft. (Courtesy images from video)
