Connecting With the Past: 20 AF’s WWII Heritage and Today’s B-29 FIFI

Dr. Jeremy Prichard, Twentieth Air Force historian, was given the opportunity to take a flight with the Commemorative Air Force aboard B-29 Superfortress, "FIFI", August 18, 2024. Prior to his flight, the CAF provided a tour of the historic aircraft to 20 AF members, August 14, 2024. Activation of 20 AF in 1944 occurred for the purpose of operating the last U.S. bomber produced during World War II, the B-29.
